  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Design, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality) to integrate AM into product lifecycle.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to define build orientation, support strategies, and post-processing needs.
  • Translate functional product requirements into designs optimized for additive manufacturing (DfAM).
  • Establishing Design / Printing / Component Qualification / Testing.
  • Validate designs through simulation (e.g., FEA, thermal, fluid flow) and rapid prototyping.
  • Securing the supply chain and necessary minerals
  • Document design guidelines and establish best practices for AM integration into standard workflows.
  • Strengthening electrical grids
  • Apply AM-specific design principles such as topology optimization, lattice structures, and weight reduction.
  • Driving industrial decarbonization

  • Proven track record of establishing product components using Laser / VAAM technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of DfAM principles, CAD (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA), and topology optimization tools (e.g., Ansys, Altair Inspire).
  • Familiarity with AM processes such as SLM, EBM, DMLS, Binder Jetting, or FDM.
  • Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field from any Govt. Engineering college) with CGPA > 8.0
  • Knowledge of standards (ASTM, ISO) and qualification procedures for AM parts (desirable).
  • Understanding of material behavior in AM (metals, polymers, composites).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience in Additive Manufacturing (metal or polymer), preferably in an industrial/R&D setting.
