Perform substation design tasks independently, including CADD design, drawing development, modeling, analysis, material list preparation, and field reviews for complex projects.
Prepare engineering drawings such as One Line Diagrams, General Arrangements, Grounding & Conduit Plans, Foundation Plans, BOMs, and Relay/Control System schematics.
Conduct calculations, reports, and designs for low, medium, and high voltage electrical substations to support engineers.
Interpret client standards and complete small to moderately complex projects, applying sound design judgment subject to engineer review.
Execute most design responsibilities without assistance on moderate projects and work independently with guidance on complex projects.
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and client personnel.
Utilize advanced 3D coordination tools.
Provide leadership and mentoring to team members.
