Sidewalk Crew Laborers are responsible for clearing snow from commercial client locations, maintaining safe pedestrian and vehicle access during winter weather events. Workers must respond quickly to weather alerts, follow all safety protocols, and apply de‑icing materials in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Perform snow removal using blowers, shovels, pushers, and hand tools
- Maintain clear pedestrian pathways in assigned zones
- Respond promptly to on‑call weather events
- Monitor site conditions and report hazards to supervisors
- Apply salt, calcium or magnesium chloride, and sand according to site standards and environmental guidelines
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Wear proper winter attire and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
