Curtain Wall Fabricator

Description

• Further develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques and remain current with product requirements
• Other projects and duties assigned, including occasional driving of company vehicles for work-related activities
• Drill extrusions and install accessories
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Accurately read tape measures, safely use power tools (saws, drills, punches, etc.) and hand tools
• Cut aluminum extrusions to length as per fabrication tickets, shop drawings and elevation drawings, including layout, measurement
• Maintain fabrication and safety equipment

Requirements

The successful individual for this role will accurately fabricate aluminum products such as curtain wall and storefront. He/she is expected to work as part of team that is customer focused and thrive in a fast-paced working environment that requires open & effective communication between multiple disciplines.

• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with interruptions
• Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
• Must have valid and clean Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ability to work in a team and stand-alone environment
• Must be able to accurately read tape measures
• Experience fabricating aluminum curtain wall and storefront material
• Able to work in a fast-moving environment
• Must have tool experience (saws, grinder, power tools, etc.)
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Experience prepping aluminum doors and installing hardware
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
• Must have reliable transportation and be on time to work each day
