Logistics Foreman

Description

As a Foreman – Logistics, you’ll oversee site-based logistics activities, including labor supervision, materials handling, equipment use, and safe working practices. Your work ensures smooth operations and high safety and quality standards across the site.

This role reports to the Logistics Coordinator and works closely with site operations, HSE, and support teams. The logistics department ensures daily activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in coordination with project demands.

• Conduct quality checks and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Coordinate confined space and hazardous material activities safely
• Plan daily activities and ensure timely availability of materials and resources
• Maintain site records and enforce ALEC’s safety and environmental standards
• Interpret drawings and support Chargehands and Junior Foremen
• Motivate your team and encourage collaboration and development
• Monitor site productivity and implement improvement measures
• Supervise labor and ensure safe, efficient use of tools, equipment, and PPE

Requirements

Are you a hands-on logistics professional with a passion for managing site operations, materials, and labor to keep construction moving safely and efficiently?

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Chargehand in construction
• Certified First Aider
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
