Broad knowledge of thermal-fluid sciences (fluid flow, heat transfers, multi-phase flow and thermodynamics)
Familiarity and experience with some of the safety and licensing computer codes such as CATHENA, NUCIRC, GOTHIC and MAAP
Good knowledge of the CANDU design, with particular emphasis on the heat transport system (HTS) and plant control, containment and moderator systems would be an asset
Proficiency in computer programming, especially FORTRAN, is desirable;
A relevant Engineering or science degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience;
Must be conversant with computer environments; proficiency in both Linux and WINDOWS environments is a strong asset;
