The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for driving continuous improvement across the supply base, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and delivering measurable improvements in supplier quality and customer satisfaction. This role works closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve non‑conformances, manage corrective actions, and strengthen quality systems. The position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, based in London, ON or Guelph, ON, with three or more days per week on site.
The SQE also serves as an expert for the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring that controlled documents meet ISO and regulatory requirements, maintaining QMS training records and visual management, and driving continuous improvement of QMS processes using structured problem‑solving methods.
The essential requirements for the position include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience, four to five years of supplier quality engineering experience in an ISO‑certified environment, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in statistical data analysis and root‑cause methodologies, have cross‑functional experience with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to travel 30‑40% across North America; ASQ certification is preferred.
The compensation range for this role is $75,000‑$90,000 USD per year, with eligibility for bonus pay, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off and medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees.
