Event Marketer

Description

We are looking for enthusiastic part‑time Event Marketers to represent Joyce at local events throughout the Asheville and Greenville area. In this role you will engage attendees, share product information, and generate high‑quality leads for our sales team while working flexible schedules and participating in event set‑up and tear‑down.

As an Event Marketer you will be the face of Joyce at community gatherings, helping to build brand awareness and drive qualified sales opportunities.

• Attend scheduled events in the Asheville and Greenville area.
• Engage attendees to promote Joyce products and services.
• Collect lead information and generate qualified appointments for the sales team.
• Set up and tear down event displays, including tents, tables, banners, and signage.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic presence at all events.
• Assist with basic care and transport of event materials.

Requirements

• Prior customer service, retail, brand ambassador, or event experience (preferred).
• Strong verbal communication and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable initiating conversations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various indoor/outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift and set up basic event equipment such as tents, tables, and banners.
• Reliable transportation to travel to events throughout the market.
• Existing book of events and shows to start the season.
• Strong marketing support and brand recognition.

Benefits

Compensation includes a $17‑per‑hour base rate plus performance bonuses tied to leads and appointments, with total earnings typically ranging from $47 to $57 per hour.
