Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
File, sand, deburr / polish parts, and have the ability to perform weld prep
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Problem-Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.
Properly operate the bead blaster
General knowledge of all other shop processes
