The Electric Division is seeking an on‑site construction supervisor to manage industrial electrical projects across multiple states. The role involves overseeing crews, managing field operations, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and execution throughout a project’s life cycle. Success is measured by delivering coordinated job sites that stay on schedule, meet performance expectations, and uphold Knobelsdorff’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance.
- Lead on‑site planning, material and equipment management, and enforce job‑site safety.
- Oversee daily progress and report status to the project team.
- Interpret drawings and installation standards to guide project execution.
- Support project benchmarking, stakeholder reviews, and process approvals.
- Coordinate with project managers on planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and material procurement.
- Supervise field crews and subcontractors to keep work on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct tailgate safety meetings and ensure Job Hazard Analyses are completed.
- Enforce safety protocols and document any incidents.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to on‑site personnel.
- Participate in constructability reviews and define execution strategies.
- Review timecards and job costs for accuracy and accountability.
- Build and maintain a three‑week look‑ahead schedule and act as the on‑site representative for inspectors, landowners, and OSHA visits.

The position requires up to 100 % travel across regional states, including overnight stays, and a valid driver’s license with a strong driving record. - Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Proven industrial electrical construction experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and forecast scope.
- Strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel up to 100 % across regional states with overnight stays and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
Benefits
Compensation ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 annually, with additional per‑diem, incentive opportunities, and weekly paid wages.
