The New Home Counselor role in the Arizona market is a full‑time, multi‑community sales position dedicated to supporting prospective buyers. Counselors lead buyers through roadmap presentations and virtual demonstrations of Oakwood communities, answer questions, overcome objections, and secure sales contracts while ensuring overall buyer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include regular follow‑up with buyers, addressing concerns throughout the purchase process, participating in community team activities, and self‑prospecting realtor and referral networks. Counselors also focus daily on key success drivers, report progress, and adopt new technologies such as the HubSpot CRM system.
The ideal candidate possesses exceptional customer service and communication skills, is self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in MS Office, strong verbal and written abilities, and the capacity to work independently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude are required, along with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and maintain punctual attendance.
