You will join the Complex Facilities, Defence team and work within the Continuous Improvement function, driving data‑led improvement initiatives across the contract. The post involves positive engagement with front‑line teams, supply chains and National Accommodation Management Service (NAMS) representatives.
P&CI Coaches operate across the contract, fostering and coaching continuous improvement within operations teams and ensuring staff are supported to improve at the operational level. They also act as ambassadors for Amey with service families, stakeholder groups and the wider community.
- Collect and analyse complex data to provide insights for Amey and DIO
- Manage varied workload and tight deadlines
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methods
- Challenge established processes to eliminate waste
- Share best practice with fellow P&CI Coaches
- Embed in operations to find cost‑saving and performance‑enhancing initiatives
- Coach and mentor within RAMS to foster a CI culture
- Facilitate Lean/change‑management workshops with diverse stakeholders
- Drive change in operational B2B and B2C environments

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Performance and Continuous Improvement Lead, based ideally in Donnington, Catterick, York or the East Midlands area.
The role is full‑time (37.5 hours per week) Monday‑Friday and will require regular travel to operational sites, with a minimum of three days per week on‑site. A valid driving licence is essential.
All personnel must obtain BPSS and the appropriate security clearance (e.g., Security Check) before commencing work.

- Desirable: ILM Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring or equivalent
- Desirable: Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent experience
