The Training Development Specialist role combines advanced graphic design with eLearning development to create engaging, visually impactful learning experiences. Working within the Training Academy, the specialist will shape both digital and face‑to‑face training solutions that support workforce capability and safety across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify training needs and skill gaps.
- Design and develop eLearning modules, project inductions, instructor‑led presentations, videos and animations.
- Apply graphic and instructional design principles to create engaging, effective learning content.
- Build interactive courses using Articulate Rise 360 with a focus on usability and learner engagement.
- Create visually compelling PowerPoint assets for face‑to‑face training sessions.
- Script, storyboard, and oversee production of videos or animations.
- Ensure all learning solutions meet organisational goals, accessibility standards and industry compliance.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and iteratively refine materials for better knowledge retention.
- Work closely with subject‑matter experts to guarantee technical accuracy and relevance.

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and the ADDIE instructional design model.
- Skilled in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Captivate and Synthesia.
- Experience in video production, animation and multimedia editing.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, visual learning materials.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
