Always provide available gridlines/elevations for Carpenters/Subtrades to use in the event of your absence.
Checking at the beginning of the project for accuracy and compliance of the originally established site/project controls, provided by land surveying companies.
Preparation, checking and converting all required data to appropriate surveying formats.
Day-to-day stakeout, as-built surveys and scans, as required in support of construction of industrial facilities and services.
Coordinate with Project Team to aid in uninterrupted and efficient workflow and ensure that all required data is obtained.
Responsible for ongoing care and maintenance of all survey equipment.
Ensure all survey data is correctly uploaded and transferred as required in a timely fashion.
Assist Project Manager, Superintendent and Foremen with interpretation of design drawings and specifications.

Valid Driver’s License or means of transportation to project sites.
Accurate interpretation and calculations from engineer drawings.
Must be familiar with operation of Data Collectors and Robotic Total Station equipment.
Minimum of 5 years relevant Construction Surveyor experience
Have a good understanding and/or ability to find information as needed in the OH&S regulations.
Ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with high level of dependability.
Ability to organize and operate on multiple work fronts efficiently.
Computer skills and the ability to use AutoCAD 3D and surveying software are essential.
Ability to work outside of regular hours to be ready for crew starts. i.e. Slab layout after a pour for vertical elements to start.
Knowledge of construction surveying techniques and specified tolerances.
