CAD Operator (Entry Level – Land Development) | Richmond, VA | Bohler

Description

• Review your own drawings for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve drafting or design issues
• Modify conceptual plans through full construction documents under engineering guidance
• Assist with document organization, plan formatting, and digital file management
• Create and revise detail sheets, secondary plans, and project layouts

Requirements

• Learn AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, applying Bohler’s CAD standards to produce plan sets
• Hands-on training with AutoCAD and Civil 3D on active land development projects
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach
• Access to Bohler’s Design Technology and CAD Quality teams for continued development
• High School diploma or technical certificate in computer-aided design (or equivalent experience)
• 0–1+ years of AutoCAD experience; Civil 3D exposure preferred
• Exposure to site layout, grading, utility, and drainage design fundamentals
