Key duties span engineering and design, permitting and compliance, field coordination, construction support, and administrative tasks. - Design and plan outside‑plant facilities for copper and fiber (aerial, buried, conduit).

- Prepare and submit permit packages to township, county, state, DNR, railroad, and pipeline agencies.

- Coordinate with municipal officials and government agencies on road‑work and relocations.
- Collaborate with other utilities to minimize conflicts and avoid project delays.
- Update CAD (FROGS), Varasset, and SiteTracker tools as required.
- Coordinate with SSP contractors to achieve timely, budget‑conscious project completion.
- Assist with make‑ready work and joint‑use coordination for Frontier‑owned poles.
- Perform site surveys, support PUC complaint investigations, and create capital projects for cell towers or plant repairs.
- Address plant‑damage requests, cable‑count changes, and other network service needs.
- Maintain engineering records, process departmental documentation, and draft correspondence and reports.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of hands‑on copper and fiber optic network engineering experience, at least 5 years in network or OSP work, and strong project‑management skills. Proficiency with Frontier tools such as FROGS, Varasset, and SiteTracker, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to travel locally are required, and applicants must reside within an hour of Findlay, OH.
