This role will deliver HV installation and maintenance services across the UK, covering design, erection, testing, commissioning, and refurbishments up to 33kV. Accredited under NERS, we also design, install, and commission utility connections for DNO adoption.

  • Oversee sub-contractors and maintain quality standards.
  • Undertake HV testing, commissioning, and maintenance of switchgear and protection systems.
  • Ensure clear work instructions and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Organise HV outages, switching, isolation, and safety documentation.
  • Deliver construction, maintenance, and asset replacement projects on 11–33kV networks.
  • Lead onshore/offshore maintenance scopes.
  • Manage works to meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Provide technical solutions in collaboration with the HV Operations Manager.

  • HV Senior Authorisation status (DNO or equivalent).
  • 5+ years in electrical contracting, with HV Private Networks experience (essential).
  • City & Guilds in HV Operational Safety.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to prioritise safety.
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering – Power Distribution (preferred).
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • IOSH / NEBOSH (desirable).
