To lead and develop a team of rework technicians, including definition of performance objectives, internal recruitment and managing team member performance.
Ensure rework activities are conducted in adherence to the Quality Management System, ensuring regular review and improvement of owned processes and procedures.
Lead the diagnosis of engine faults (direct cause) to inform the problem-solving team.
Monitor team performance by contribution to Operational KPIs.
Investigating suspected product non-conformities and reporting findings.
Ensure all administration is completed for each rework task. e.g. rework tracker, Intelex demerit reporting, scrap reporting
Supports investigation and resolution of customer and internal problems.
Support for New Product Introduction activities, including assessment of feasibility for production and launch readiness, with a focus on design for rework & repair informed by lessons learnt.
Provide continuous improvement of rework processes to prevent non-conformities from rework entering production. Conduct work overchecks, as necessary.
Ensure all diagnostic & rework team activities are carried out safely and all processes meet the required HSE guidelines, including off-site activities. Overseeing the safe systems of work in the rework room.
Reworking non-conforming products to good condition and returning to production workflow.
