We’re hiring a ServiceNow Senior Developer to lead complex development work, guide junior developers, and help shape platform direction. The role involves designing scalable solutions, working across multiple modules, and collaborating with architects and process owners.
The senior developer will lead development across at least two ServiceNow products, including ITSM and CMDB, and build advanced configurations such as Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, ACLs, and Flow Designer logic. They will develop and optimize JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AngularJS, and create and maintain Scripted REST APIs, integrations, and data workflows. Working with architects, they will design scalable solutions, support upgrades, patches, and regression testing, and troubleshoot complex issues through root‑cause analysis. They will review junior developers’ work, provide guidance, and build catalog items, record producers, and workflow automation while maintaining data quality across ITOM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, and ITSM. Documentation of designs, scripts, and configuration changes and translation of business requirements into technical solutions are also required.

Strong JavaScript (client and server) and deep experience with Glide APIs and platform scripting are essential, along with hands‑on experience with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, Scripted REST APIs, and IntegrationHub. Candidates should have a solid understanding of CMDB data models, Service Portal UI customization, ACLs, security rules, ATF, ITIL processes, and scoped app development. The role requires 4–7+ years of ServiceNow development experience, a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience), and familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments. CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications are a plus, as is the ability to mentor junior developers and communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and CMDB data models.
- Apply knowledge of ITIL processes, Service Portal customization, ACLs, ATF, and scoped app development.
