Independent full‑scope technical maintenance provider for multi‑brand onshore and offshore wind turbines.
As a Technician II you will help perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines. You will interpret fault reports, maintain power generation and service logs in computer databases, and monitor turbine performance while working independently on electrical and mechanical components. The role also offers the opportunity to lead the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) program.
The position supports turbine operation by handling maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, completing required documentation, and assisting with high‑voltage equipment.
Work is performed independently but always follows strict safety protocols, including LOTO procedures and the use of a Personal Fall Arrest System. Physical fitness is essential for climbing turbines, rescuing teammates, and working in extreme weather conditions.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED (an associate’s degree is a bonus), at least one year of wind‑turbine experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to read and follow technical documents and safety procedures. They must also meet rigorous physical and medical standards, including lifting up to 100 lb and free‑climbing 300 ft with gear.
