Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on TDOT (or other DOT) transportation project design
Experience with Microstation, Geopak, Open Roads Designer and/or other roadway design software
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Tennessee, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity within three months of hire
Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD) as well as TDOT Design manuals and processes
10-15 years or more years of relevant experience
Good interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
