Production Worker

Description

In this position you will perform multiple roles on the manufacturing floor, such as operating forklifts, packing cases, palletizing bags or blocks, labeling product, running batching and mixing systems, operating liquid‑packaging equipment, and driving block production machinery as assigned. You will work with the production team to meet or exceed quality and productivity goals while maintaining a clean work area and proper PPE.

• Operate batching, mixing, and production equipment for block, bagged, liquid, or packaged goods.
• Measure and maintain product quality and accurate weights on the production line.
• Record finished‑good production on worksheets and apply labels to pallets, bags, and containers.
• Assist with inventory reviews, complete inventory forms, and conduct physical inventories or cycle counts.
• Drive forklift to transport items within the facility and load/unload trucks as needed.
• Follow company policies, maintain a clean work area, and wear required PPE.
• Communicate production and work‑order status with office staff and ensure proper quantities.
• Build effective working relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills for production sheets, scheduling, and plant procedures.
• Understanding of manufacturing equipment, processes, and PLC/computerized batching systems.
• Forklift certification in accordance with OSHA requirements.
