The Early Careers Talent Acquisition Advisor will lead full‑cycle recruitment for Early Careers programmes such as Summer Internships, Apprenticeships, Graduate roles, and Year‑in‑Industry placements. You will manage assessment centres across multiple disciplines, build strong partnerships with hiring managers and the Early Careers Development Team, champion the employer brand, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
Key responsibilities include advertising Early Careers opportunities across diverse attraction channels, managing assessment centres, interviews, offers and pre‑boarding while maintaining best practice and compliance. You will provide training and coaching to hiring managers, track and analyse recruitment metrics, advise on visa sponsorship, and contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in Early Careers or in‑house recruitment, strong knowledge of recruitment best practice and employment legislation, and a track record of using diverse channels to attract talent across multiple disciplines. You are resilient, adaptable, highly organised, possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and have strong problem‑solving capabilities.
The role offers a £32,577 base salary, a final‑salary defined benefit pension scheme (equivalent to 21.5% employer contribution), 25 days annual leave plus holidays, and flexible, hybrid working options. UKAEA is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from under‑represented groups in STEM and offering support for reasonable adjustments.
