- Design & Development of devices (3D and 2D)
- Design pneumatic and hydraulic schemes
- 3D Design for structural frameworks, enclosures, electrical installations updates
- CAD models (3D/2D) source code.
- Coaches and leads Engineers, Assistant Engineers; The focus is on developing their technical & engineering management skills
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Travel to customer sites for Assembly follow up, debugging and machine qualification.
- Develop internal products / families as Standard devices
- Establish an organizational structure and effective communication protocols.
- 2D drawings for data received or 3D created
- Complete and functional source code of the developed software.
- Develop mechanical documentation, including:
- Makes robust designs of complex assemblies and parts according to the timing, budget and quality of the projects assigned
- Design & Development of devices, cubicles/cabinets, assemblies, skids etc. (3D and 2D)
- Enhance the internal training and propose potential improvements regarding mechanical processes (Methodology / Standardization)
- Support the creation of a library of standard groups and components and ensure the application of the Mechanical internal standardization guidelines.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting as required.
- Establish phases in the tasks and make weekly / fortnightly reviews with team members to take corrective actions.
- Ensures the technical integrity of the work delivered from the Global Engineering Hub
- Verify the design calculations of other engineers within the Mechanical Engineering team.
- Ensure that all required procedures and standards are implemented and respected.
- Perform risk assessments
- Collaborate closely with Team Leaders of other departments and Project Management, to align project objectives.
- Ensure Machine Manuals and technical reports are developed accurately.
- Perform stress analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, and material selection.
- Create positive impact to all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, partners, internal organization, etc.) by sharing QG Customer’s strong brand values, essence, philosophy, heritage, way of doing, purpose, value proposition, etc.

- Expertise in design for manufacturing technologies, tolerancing analysis, FMEA and quality assurance
- 3D Design Turnkey

- Extensive knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Edge
- Extensive experience of Finite element methods
- Motion Studies
- Hands-on experience in rapid prototyping in a workshop environment is preferred (3D printing, mechanical assembly, operating manual tools and power tools, etc.)
- Jt2go (viewer)
- Solid edge + Teamcenter
- Time management
- Knowledge of Machine Directive and other industrial equipment safety rules
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ansys or similar
- Knowledge of EPLAN and ACAD systems
- Green Belt 6-Sigma Certification / Experience

- Working experience in an international team

- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of project management and engineering techniques, processes and tools, including project planning tools
