Promote Quality Culture: Build and maintain strong working relationships across the project team to proactively identify quality risks, prioritize issues, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
Oversee Contractor Quality Performance: Monitor and evaluate the Contractor's'adherence to the approved Quality Management System (QMS), including surveillance activities to ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Facilitate Quality Communication: Serve as a key interface with Contractors on quality-related matters. Collaborate with the broader project team to address and resolve quality issues.
Review Quality Documentation: Evaluate Contractor-submitted Quality Plans, ITPs, NCRs, and other quality-related documentation to ensure alignment with project standards and requirements.
Manage Nonconformities and Corrective Actions: Track and assess Nonconformity Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs). Proactively support the contractor in identifying nonconformities and verifying the effective implementation of correction and corrective actions.
Conduct Quality Audits: Plan, coordinate, and execute quality audits of Contractors and subcontractors to confirm compliance with project QMS and contractual obligations.

Keen negotiator in matters related to Quality and is able to get your point across clearly and precisely.
Advanced working knowledge of construction standards specifications in Alberta.
Post-secondary education in construction, engineering or technician and significant quality control and assurance experience or an equivalent combination of experience and technical training.
Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in a related project quality role in a construction environment.
