Maintains equipment and materials in good repair and maintains an orderly work area consistent with 5C practices and the Wiremold Production system.
Places completed work in designated location, potentially using basic material handling equipment.
Records quality and productivity information as necessary.
Complies with all OSHA safety and Company safety procedures and works in a safe manner to insure both personal safety and safety to others.
Records, maintains, and reports on materials handled, packed, stored, or transported using applicable company systems.
Performs Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) schedules and assignments as required for the tools, equipment and small machines used in the performance of this function.
Potentially packs, seals, and labels all raceway products utilizing tools and equipment as needed. Makes minor adjustments on assembling and packaging machines and small hand tools to maintain quality. Taking direction from appropriate Group Leader or supervision.
Loads and unloads work in process to machines required in their rotation, including restarts and resets as needed.
Performs all assignments with attention to quality standards of workmanship.
May work alone with periodic supervision or may work with a group depending on the products being assembled or the tools and equipment being operated.
Fabrication and assembly activities include, but are not limited to, pressing, tapping, welding, sealing, labeling, stamping, counting, loading and unloading products and cartons and pallets. In addition, cutting to length and fabricating wires and assembling power/data devices into products including terminating connections and testing of assemblies or finished products. Taking direction from appropriate Group Leader or supervision.

Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
Must be able to perform all work assignments within the classification in a rotation within the work cell/department, in a productive and efficient way, producing work of good quality.
No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
Six (6) months prior experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, ideally involving wiring and assembly. Other consideration may be given for prior experience with corporations who highly utilize continuous improvement activities.
Must have good organizing and prioritization skills
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects, including the body. Sitting most of the time for sedentary work.
Uses a variety of hand tools, air screw drivers, tapping machines, automatic and semi-automatic machinery.
Must be able to work from the paperwork, including but not limited to blueprint or standard work sheets, when the work assignment requires.
Must demonstrate an ability to perform standard work processes.
Must be willing to cross train on all rotation assignments in the work cell/department.
Must be able to solve mathematical equations.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. High school education or equivalent.
