The Role

Overview

Provides admin support for housing schemes, finance and client services.

Tasks

-Working in line with health and safety requirements to ensure the overall safety and security of the scheme. -To provide a high quality, customer-orientated service championing “Riverside Service Style” practices. -Assisting the delivery of an effective and consistent administration system across the cluster. -Promote and encourage a high level of client involvement, consultation and communication. -Ensuring appropriate recording and IT systems are in place. -Assisting in meeting key performance indicators, such as voids and arrears targets. -Participate in the work of the Divisional team, encouraging innovation. -Working within a multi-disciplinary team of housing and support staff. -Maintaining all financial administration systems, including rent accounts, invoices, petty cash and banking. -Ensure that all data is compliant with legislation and policies relating to data quality. -Collating and submitting information returns, including funding, health and safety and performance returns. -Ensuring culture and diversity issues have been considered across the client group and to tackle any forms of discrimination, adhering to equality and diversity procedures. -Attend various meetings to provide a minute taking function. -Supporting and promoting the highest level of tenant consultation, communication and partnership in all aspects of service delivery. -To understand that Riverside is a nationally focused organisation and to be accountable for adhering to the agreed corporate policies and procedures. -Constantly review work outputs, setting improvement targets and appraising individual performance. -To ensure compliance with Riverside’s safeguarding policies and procedures in every aspect of service delivery. -Collating internal financial monitoring reports as and when required. -Carry out day to day office administrative functions to ensure that all records and files are maintained and held securely and that the confidentiality of information is upheld. -Attending appropriate training and development opportunities as required. -To ensure compliance with Riverside’s Equality and Diversity policy, in respect of employment and service delivery. -Providing personal administration support where appropriate. -Assisting with the procurement and management of service contracts. -To actively promote Riverside locally. -Ordering and monitoring office supplies and equipment. -Working in line with company policies and procedures and the requirements of funders and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery. -Occasional travel across schemes in the cluster. -Undertake personal development and training as necessary to keep up to date with legal, political, financial and other developments in the fields of housing and customer service

What You Bring

-Experience working in a customer focused environment within a residential setting with a diverse client group of vulnerable adults -Experience of working with administration and financial systems -Active involvement in team meetings and attending regular supervisions. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds -Basic administrative skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel -Proficient in the use of IT packages including word processing, spreadsheets, internet-based systems and email.
