Identify, drive, and deliver VA/VE projects in collaboration with function and team leaders.
Promote a strong 5S culture and facilitate Lean training programs, Kaizen events, and other related continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the development of detailed action plans to realize savings in collaboration with leaders and plant associates and prepare monthly costing sheets to monitor spend accuracy.
Assist in developing the procurement continuous improvement plan and help define approaches to measure the CI capabilities.
Collaborate with the NPD and Product Marketing teams to identify and act on opportunities for ongoing reduction of standard costs.
Continuously identify and eliminate non-value-adding processes or business steps; create Value Stream Maps to enhance process and information flow efficiency.

Industrial background in Automobiles, Packaging, Pharma or Consumer Durables is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of engineering change management, technology evaluation, and CAPEX procurement.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role, with hands-on involvement in CAPEX /Projects Procurement.
Understanding of legal terms, Incoterms, and commercial impact of current affairs and geopolitical scenarios.
Strong skills in technical analysis, cost estimation, and value engineering.
High proficiency in SAP, Ariba, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, transportation management, and contract execution (including ARC, AMC, CMC for spare parts, consumables, and MHE).
Proven ability in developing commodity and supplier strategies, managing the end-to-end RFQ process (from bidding list preparation to on-time sourcing), and conducting price estimation and settlement.
Excellent negotiation skills, coupled with experience in budgeting, financial planning.
