This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills across the entire EPC project lifecycle — from concept and feasibility studies through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining valuable exposure to grid integration, system studies, and protection design, contributing to projects driving the UK’s transition to a low-carbon future.

  • Basic knowledge of modelling software such as PowerFactory, ETAP, IPSA, or PSCAD.
  • Experience using Procore or similar project management tools.
  • Working toward professional membership with the IET or chartership (IEng/CEng).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Awareness of BESS operations, grid code compliance, or National Grid connection standards.
  • 1–2 years of experience within HV systems, consultancy, utilities, or EPC projects.
  • Degree (BEng/MEng) in Electrical, Power, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, protection, and control fundamentals.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Benefits
  • Structured career development and exposure to all stages of project delivery.
  • Support toward professional registration (IEng/CEng).
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work on innovative, grid-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Guidance and mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
