Field Technician

Description

• Conduct basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communicating and submitting to the Project Manager.
• Draft inspection reports for review by senior inspectors and/or Project Managers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Communicate information to the Project Manager and other personnel as directed.
• Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Perform testing, observation, and inspection as directed, in accordance with training and specified procedures.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
• Follow safety rules and practices for all projects, including pre-task planning.
• Assist more senior inspectors on projects as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in construction inspection.
• Minimum 4-5 years experience as an Engineering Technician or equivalent.
• Experience in construction inspection.
• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology preferred.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Certifications in ACI, ICC, NICET for Soil, Concrete, Masonry, and Asphalt.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
