The Business Partner III for the Development Business Unit acts as a strategic interface between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring technology solutions align with operational, analytical, and digital needs. This role is pivotal in translating business objectives into actionable technology strategies and roadmaps, while driving innovation across the development team.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary liaison between Development and IT, partnering with solution architects and vendors to deliver GIS, permitting, site prospecting, and lifecycle systems, and leading change‑management initiatives such as communications, training, and stakeholder engagement. The role also focuses on identifying automation opportunities, improving data accessibility, and collaborating with Data & Analytics to inform development strategy.
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus at least four years of experience in IT, business analysis, or consulting, with three years in a client‑facing business partner capacity. Candidates must have a strong understanding of renewable energy project development and be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or MS and experience with platforms like Salesforce, ESRI ArcGIS, SharePoint, and project‑management tools.
