What you would be doing

Responsible for the observation of utility installations across railroad property.
Escalate items of non-compliance to management/engineers for review.
Attend both railroad (flagger) and contractor daily job briefings and discuss project requirements.
Document work in accordance with approved plans.
Submit daily inspection reports using a tablet that accurately depict work progress and adherence to the railroad utility agreement.
Perform on-site observation of trenchless construction within railroad right-of-way, providing support for third-party activities on and around live railroad tracks.
Responsible for documentation of pre- and post-construction site conditions, verification of materials and layout, observation and documentation of construction activities, and maintaining an active dialogue with on- and off-site personnel.
Attend monthly training calls.
