The Scheduling Manager will oversee the scheduling team, project staff, and consultants on one or more construction projects of varying size and complexity within the Business Unit. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining project schedules, developing baseline CPM logic, and monitoring progress to ensure alignment with the execution plan.
Key duties involve leading scheduling activities such as creating full CPM baseline schedules, integrating BIM/4D models and the Last Planner System, and producing monthly progress updates with narratives, target comparisons, and look-ahead schedules. The role also requires conducting schedule reviews, delivering dashboard statistics at Operations Review Meetings, supporting business development proposals, and providing training on scheduling software and best practices.
Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or a related field and possess at least eight years of experience on large construction projects (>$100 million). Desired qualifications include a scheduling certification (AACE, PSP, PMI-SP), expert use of Primavera P6 and diagnostic tools such as Acumen Fuse, and strong analytical, critical-thinking, and continuous-improvement skills.
The role requires physical abilities such as climbing stairs and ladders, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and the capacity to work on construction sites, office settings, or remotely. Employees must adhere to safety policies while navigating environments with moving equipment, noise, weather exposure, and other site‑specific hazards.
