The Service Engineer will perform accurate, timely and high‑quality service, maintenance and commissioning of HVAC equipment and systems, attend scheduled sites, and participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota to handle after‑hours emergencies. Responsibilities include planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs to factory standard, delivering quoted work within scope and budget, and producing detailed service reports using the company’s management software. The engineer must work responsibly in a mission‑critical environment, comply with all health‑and‑safety, F‑Gas, RAMS, statutory and security regulations, and provide feedback to QA/QC and other stakeholders to drive product improvement.
Additional duties may involve supporting other geographic regions, contributing to project engineering, sales‑process engineering support, and product technical assistance as required by the manager. The role requires initiative, teamwork and adherence to company and customer instructions at all times.
MUNTERS Data Centre Technologies, a fast‑growing world leader in data centre cooling equipment, is seeking a highly skilled, organised and detail‑oriented HVAC Service Engineer to join its Dublin team and service mission‑critical cooling systems across Ireland. The role reports to the Service Manager and requires a proven track record in servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment, particularly within the data centre sector.
Candidates must hold a formal qualification in Refrigeration, Air‑Conditioning, HVAC or Mechanical/Building Services, possess at least four years of relevant experience, and have an excellent working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration/DX systems, including controls. Required certifications include F‑Gas, and experience with air handling, CRAC/CRAH split, VRF systems is essential; experience with adiabatic cooling and chillers is desirable. Fluency in English (reading, speaking and writing) is mandatory.
