- Manage the on-site install and completion of interior design elements.
- Coordinate and converse with artisans, vendors, and consultants, effectively communicating desired technical and aesthetic specifications.
- Prepare detailed design plans, construction documents, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD
- Ensure all design work adheres to relevant building codes and inspection regulations.
- Assist in planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of projects, ensuring awareness of project programming and deadlines.
- Work in tandem with principal to create and deliver integrated design concepts from initial schematic ideas through final execution.
- Place orders for materials and coordinate delivery, storage, and installation logistics for interior elements.
- Research, source, specify, and procure materials and furnishings based on client needs and project requirements.

- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Highly motivated and capable of transitioning between multiple projects at any moment.
- Must be aware of building codes and inspection regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
- Be able to readily capture the intended “look and attitude” that reflects company branding.
- 3+ years’ experience in a design firm, preferably with experience spanning both architecture and interiors.
- Have a passion for creative design solutions and problem solving.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Excel.
- Be a strong communicator with great listening and people skills, comfortable coordinating with clients, vendors, and consultants.
- Must be open to feedback and instruction, and be willing to offer substantive input during design critiques.
- Be comfortable hand sketching to quickly articulate design ideas.
