You will create and track requests for new and existing software subscriptions, monitor approvals, and oversee procurement activities. Managing upcoming renewal and contract dates, you will act as the primary procurement contact for engineering software and technical library vendors. Additionally, you will analyze purchasing requisitions for accuracy, prepare contracts for legal review, and handle vendor creation and updates while assisting in negotiations and budget management.
Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist. In this position you will manage software assets, procurement processes, renewals, contracts, vendor updates, and related workflows for the engineering team.
The role requires proven experience in procurement, contract management, and vendor negotiations, along with proficiency in asset management and procurement software platforms. Strong organizational, analytical, and detail‑oriented abilities are essential, as is the capacity to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are needed to work with internal teams and external vendors. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred, though six or more years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
Desired qualifications include expertise with Asset Manager, SAP Ariba, PRISM, Salesforce, and similar tools, as well as experience managing software procurement, renewals, and licensing workflows. Candidates should be able to identify process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency.
