This position offers the chance to lead a high‑performing global team, influence enterprise‑wide sourcing decisions and deliver measurable results in quality, cost, logistics, development and management.

You will manage a dynamic, multi‑site team of buyers, supplier development engineers and advanced purchasing analysts, building, developing and mentoring a high‑performing team while driving performance improvements with Six Sigma tools, ensuring robust supplier strategy and resiliency, and fostering a culture of excellence and ethical leadership across a diverse global organisation.
Your influence will extend to customer success—ensuring outstanding service to Caterpillar facilities worldwide—supplier development—building senior‑level relationships with global suppliers—and strategic impact—applying macroeconomic insights and cost modelling to optimise sourcing decisions and deliver enterprise value.

Ideal candidates also demonstrate expertise in global sourcing strategies, a proven record of developing and executing category and supplier strategies aligned with enterprise goals, strong commercial acumen in contract negotiation, effective leadership with a history of building high‑performing teams, collaboration with engineering and manufacturing, and hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
