In this position you will lead and run structural engineering components of complex, major dam projects, providing technical and strategic direction. You will mentor a growing team of engineers, ensure high‑quality outputs, and guide design teams from options analysis through detailed design while maintaining strong client relationships.
The role seeks an experienced structural engineer with dam expertise to join the Melbourne team at director level. The successful candidate will become part of AECOM’s No. 1 globally ranked Dams and Engineering Practice, contributing to nation‑defining projects with a secure long‑term pipeline of work.
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential, along with proven experience delivering superior outcomes in the dam industry. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, a passion for mentoring and leadership, and the ability to develop relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry groups.
