Senior Building and Field Inspector

Description

• Mentor and guide junior field staff, with potential to lead inspection teams.
• Travel locally to project sites (company vehicle provided).
• Prepare and review detailed inspection reports and test data.
• Conduct advanced inspections and materials testing on active job sites.
• Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to ensure project specifications are met.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• ACI Laboratory Certification (a plus).
• Strong communication and plan-reading skills.
• ICC Commercial Building Inspector certification (required).
• Work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• ACI Grade 1, WAQTC, and/or Nuclear Gauge certifications (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• 5+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, and testing.
