This position’s primary responsibility is to serve as data owners for the PGO-Distribution Project Controls functions the design, analysis, and report development. Duties of this position also include the consultation with users to specify/design/develop new reports, measures data, and data structures to support Project Controls functions.
Extract key observations and insights from internal and external data sources to support decision-making
Provide technical and functional knowledge of business processes and systems to ensure efficient design, development, implementation, and support of data management applications and reports related to Project Controls functions.
Work with external consultants and suppliers on data analysis and development of data management applications in support of project controls activities.
Prepare dashboard reports in Power BI for Project Controls and Project Management. This position provides direction and approval of data management structures, tables, and universes to the technology application and architecture support team(s).
Support in the development and maintenance of automated applications, tools and processes
Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers, and business analysts to deliver high quality value-adding analytics solutions
Responsible for specifying, designing, and preparing reporting and data analysis activities for PGO-Distribution Project Controls tools. These reports are updating on various cadences depending on the reporting.
Interpret data based on understanding of business transactions/activities; and draw conclusions about data patterns.
Data exploration, cleansing, validation and testing in order to optimize processes and discover value
Create ad-hoc reports to support end-user business requirements
Write queries for data mining and synthesizing large datasets using SQL, Python, R Studio, SAS or equivalent.
Performs opportunity analysis on PGO data to identify potential planning, forecasting, productivity and efficiency improvements
