In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the supply chain meets minimum security standards by developing audit programmes, monitoring supplier compliance, and acting as the security focal point for incidents. You will also provide risk‑based advice, coordinate response to intelligence‑driven threats, and deliver security awareness briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
The Supply Chain Security Assurance Lead role is based in Bristol, reporting to the Supply Chain Assurance Manager and forming part of the Defence Security Team. The position requires independent travel to suppliers, partners and other Rolls‑Royce sites across the UK (minimum 50%) and may involve occasional international trips.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a safety‑first mindset, strong communication and influencing abilities, and a track record of delivering comprehensive audit plans. Required qualifications include a valid UK driving licence, experience with security compliance and physical security standards, familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 28001 and CSMP, and the ability to obtain a Security Check (SC) clearance. UK nationality is mandatory, with additional scrutiny for dual nationals.
