The Master‑planning Senior Engineer will oversee the review, validation, and approval of the Masterplan and its components, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, sustainability goals, and technical standards. This role coordinates stakeholder approvals, integrates environmental, social, and technical considerations, and safeguards that all design submissions conform to the approved plan.
- Coordinate review and approval process with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
- Ensure all master plan components are approved and aligned with company goals and regulations before further design work.
- Integrate environmental, social, and technical considerations into the master plan.
- Align tenant and core tenant design submissions with the master plan.
- Prevent conflicts between core tenant designs and the approved master plan.
- Review and approve core tenant design proposals in coordination with other design consultants.
- Verify that core tenant designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive master plans for large‑scale urban developments.
- Apply strong skills in mobility and infrastructure requirements to masterplan design.
- Ensure projects enhance community engagement and environmental sustainability.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including architects and civil engineers.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning; Master’s degree preferred.
- Possess at least 12 years of experience in master planning or urban design.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the GCC region.
- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience on large‑scale, complex urban projects.
- Understand land‑use regulations and zoning laws thoroughly.
- Possess knowledge of smart‑city requirements relevant to masterplan design.
- Be proficient with GIS applications for masterplan development.
- Use drafting software effectively in masterplan creation.
- Maintain high proficiency in English.
