Servicemen must have practical experience in residential, light commercial, or commercial mechanical equipment and may be required to pass an examination to demonstrate special skills. The scope of work is limited to commercial HVACR service. After at least six months of working hours with a Lead Journeyman and Manager, there is a possibility of acceptance into the Local union apprenticeship. The role may involve working in dirty conditions and longer hours.
Required: Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on light commercial heating and cooling systems, and conduct HVAC systems maintenance. Candidates should have residential, light commercial, industrial, or commercial work experience and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include EPA Refrigeration certification. The position offers an hourly pay of $24.17, determined by the collective bargaining agreement rate sheet, with benefits provided through a local labor union.
