In this role you will support data‑center startups, conduct mechanical, electrical, and control checks, and lead testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems. You will partner with automation and controls engineers to ensure systems function flawlessly, and keep customers informed with clear updates. Travel rotations follow patterns such as 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off, bringing new challenges and locations each project.

• Perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks for data center startups.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems in food and beverage sectors.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams.
• Follow rotating travel schedules (e.g., 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off) across North America.

We seek candidates who love travel and can thrive away from home on rotating schedules. Preferred experience includes knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, along with adaptability, grit, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Applicants must live within 50 miles of a major airport, have a personal vehicle available within 45 days, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

A technical degree or equivalent hands‑on experience (at least three years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering is required. Physical duties involve walking long distances, climbing ladders or heights, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in varied environments such as construction sites or outdoors. Compensation starts at $60,000–$75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, with per‑diem meals, mileage reimbursement, utilization bonuses, and weekend bonuses.
