- Promote, lead and support the safety culture of the company
- Provide advice, guidance, support and training to staff at all levels in relation to HSQTE
- Take responsibility for Health Safety Quality Training and Environment within the region
- Assist with the development, updating, maintenance and implementation of the living safely manual to ensure compliance with H&S legislation, regulations and standards, and codes of practice
- Assist with the systems and management to deliver quality works on all our sites

- A minimum of 5 years' current experience in a Health & Safety role within the civil construction industry
- Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience leading Quality, Training and the Environment
- Have experience in, and a good understanding of, civil contracting businesses
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
- Operates with a high level of self-awareness and common sense
- Management experience and proven experience in leading a successful team
- Has experience at getting the best out of people
- Ideally you will have 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety Manager's position with proven leadership skills and experience managing and developing teams onsite and remotely
- Hold a formal health and safety qualification, or be working towards one
- Has a can-do attitude and is a problem solver
