As a member of a small CMS team, you will support the Digital team in maintaining and optimizing Element’s portfolio of websites and digital platforms. The role relies on strong expertise in Optimizely (Episerver) CMS and SEO best practices, and includes responsibility for day‑to‑day content operations, stakeholder training, and quality assurance across all digital properties. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, with a key focus on providing timezone coverage for U.S. requirements when the EMEAA team is offline.
You will oversee daily CMS workflows, review and approve content changes, and conduct regular website and content audits to identify broken links, missing elements, and UX improvements. Collaboration with the Senior SEO Specialist will involve technical SEO crawls, audits, and keyword optimization, while also covering their responsibilities during absences. Additionally, you will monitor error and downtime reports, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to the Web Agency or Platforms Manager as needed.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications or a related field (preferred) and 2–3 years of experience in website management, CMS administration, or digital marketing support. Hands‑on experience with Optimizely is highly desirable, and familiarity with other enterprise or headless CMS platforms, technical/content SEO practices, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Looker is expected. Experience with SEO tracking tools, particularly SEMRush, is a plus.
Key behaviors include being action‑oriented, detail‑focused, and disciplined in process adherence, while applying pragmatic problem‑solving and effective stakeholder management. The position demands a highly collaborative, customer‑focused mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask across varied responsibilities. Technical expertise with CMS platforms, solid time‑management, and the ability to translate complex concepts for non‑technical audiences are essential for success in a remote environment.
