The role’s purpose is to manage the existing Drinks Dispense sector and to identify, strategise and execute plans that win additional business in adjacent sectors.
- Execute daily duties and stakeholder interactions in line with SPIRIT values.
- Maintain deep understanding of the UK Drinks Dispense market.
- Learn all technical aspects of markets and products to support business growth.
- Identify product and market synergies for new business development.
- Create a sales target strategy within agreed timeframes.
- Work independently on target acquisition and completion.
- Develop 12‑month operational and time‑management plans to deliver sales results.
- Represent RWC on applicable trade bodies.
- Keep market and technology knowledge up to date.
- Collaborate with customers to develop NPD/NPI that meet results and financial scrutiny.
- Facilitate engagement with key customer and RWC stakeholders technically and commercially.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts at all levels, including director level.
- Maintain relationships with indirect stakeholders.
- Develop and present a strong value proposition to new customers.
- Deliver presentations of strategies and results to senior internal stakeholders confidently.
- Work closely with commercial colleagues within distribution customers.
- Adopt a creative, innovative “can‑do” approach to customer and share acquisition.
- Execute journey planning efficiently in time and cost.
- Achieve and exceed budgeted sales figures.
- Keep Salesforce.com current with all activity, account and contact data.
- Actively manage opportunity pipeline to progress new opportunities efficiently.
- Meet personal KPIs and request development support as needed.
- Engage in peer‑to‑peer coaching and lead when required.
- Support professional growth of peers and junior colleagues.
- Complete all monthly reporting accurately and timely.
- Keep the business informed of market developments through appropriate methods.
- Support UK Fluidtech team on wider initiatives as needed.
- Use provided IT and software to ensure efficient work practices.
- Identify and communicate process changes that benefit the team or organization.
- Comply with all current work instructions.
- Maintain a strong network in drinks dispense.
