A global engineering & nuclear services firm delivering end‑to‑end infrastructure and energy solutions.
The role serves as a PMC field inspector responsible for both electrical and mechanical systems in metro station services, supporting Site Engineers to ensure that design‑and‑build contractors meet approved drawings, ITPs, codes, and Employer’s Requirements across both overground and underground stations.
Daily site surveillance includes routine inspections of HVAC/ECS/TVS, fire protection systems (hydrant, sprinkler, detection), water supply and drainage, lifts and escalators, MV/LV distribution, lighting and UPS, earthing and lightning protection, and BMS/SCADA cabling and terminations. Observations are recorded, non‑conformances are raised, and compliance with ITPs, WIRs, material deliveries, storage and handling is verified while maintaining QA checklists and test records per PMC policy.
The inspector supports testing and commissioning by witnessing local tests such as pressure, duct leakage, and functional tests, assisting with FAT/SAT/IST witnessing, and compiling evidence required for acceptance.
Interface and coordination duties involve working with civil works teams to secure access and penetration clearances, checking clearances, reporting interface issues promptly to Site Engineers, and logging them in ICD registers.
Safety and compliance responsibilities include monitoring HSSE on site—covering hot works, elevated work, and electrical safety—and ensuring adherence to NFPA 130 life‑safety features during installation, such as smoke control paths and emergency ventilation readiness.
Reporting and documentation tasks consist of preparing Daily Progress Reports, photo logs, and inspection reports, supporting measurements and bill verification, maintaining punch lists, and tracking their closure.
Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and possess 5–8 years of E&M site‑inspection experience on metro projects, with proven expertise in QA/QC checklists, design‑build workflows, and multidisciplinary inspection of mechanical and electrical systems.
The compensation package includes a tax‑free salary, comprehensive life and medical insurance, a company gratuity scheme, discretionary bonus program, annual flight contribution, and transportation and housing allowances, complemented by a 24/7 Employee Wellbeing Program offering specialist support in finance, legal, family care, health, fitness, and nutrition.
