We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead the full lifecycle of our product lines—from initial setup and market introduction to ongoing support and eventual phase‑out. This high‑impact role is central to our growth strategy, requiring a deep understanding of the Canadian market landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to develop and execute product strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and long‑term success. As a key voice of the customer, you’ll engage directly with clients and sales teams to uncover opportunities, deliver impactful training, and champion product solutions that meet evolving market demands.
You will monitor industry trends, economic drivers, and emerging technologies to ensure our offerings remain relevant and competitive, shaping product enhancements, new innovations, and go‑to‑market strategies aligned with our vertical market focus. The role also empowers you to make data‑driven decisions, contribute to promotional planning, and support product launches through digital channels such as websites, landing pages, and social media.
Provides leadership for assigned product lines by establishing annual marketing plans, product development program management, capacity forecasts and financial operating plans.
- Be recognized as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned product lines, providing support and education for employees, channel partners and customers.
- Maintain close working relationships with Sales, distributor partners and customers to identify new opportunities and grow sales of existing products.
- Monitor sales and field reports, pricing levels, competition and proposals pertaining to the responsible product area.
- Lead Hubbell Canada’s Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process, leveraging Salesforce and financial forecasts to develop demand, inventory, and production plans, and proactively communicate major capacity changes.
- Manage product life cycles and recommend redesign or improvement of existing products to increase sales and profitability.
- Facilitate effective cross‑functional communication to support and advance Hubbell Canada’s vertical market strategy, ensuring alignment and consistent execution.
- Stay abreast of technological advances to develop a competitive strategy, new applications, and modifications that improve flexibility and customer appeal.
- Establish effective communication channels and working relationships at all levels to provide timely and accurate information for product line functions.
- Keep management informed of progress, status and direction of assigned product lines and projects, including market trends, to develop product strategies.
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for assigned product lines, including promotions, collateral, merchandising, website and social media campaigns.
- Support sales efforts by participating in training events, trade shows, market development programs and industry association committees.
- Develop, track and drive new product development, redesign and product modification efforts by managing cross‑functional activities and communicating requirements and issues effectively.
- Leadership & ownership of assigned brands or product lines, acting as the primary expert and point of contact.

- Present to all levels of the organization, successfully communicating complex issues and business cases.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for building consensus and influencing teams.
- Product marketing experience and familiarity with tools such as Asana, MS Office, Power BI, and SAP.
- Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
- Location & eligibility: reside in Canada, authorized to work, and follow a hybrid schedule from the Pickering, Ontario office.
- French language skills are a plus.
Benefits
The expected salary for this position is $88,000 – $138,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package, pension plan, and possible incentives. This posting is for a new vacancy, and artificial intelligence tools are not used during screening.
