The Director of Supply Chain Management & Procurement (SCMP) will lead a multi‑regional or global team serving Fortune 100 clients. Reporting to account leadership, the director guides the SCMP team in sourcing, supplier relationship management, contracting and operational activities while maintaining procurement standards across the portfolio.
You will maintain a regular meeting cadence with key client stakeholders and account leaders to build trusted relationships, provide critical thinking support, deliver reporting and data for strategic planning, and ensure superior relationship management.
You will develop and execute strategic sourcing and supplier relationship programs that manage client risk, leverage controllable spend, standardize products and services, and rationalize the supplier base to meet spend‑leverage goals.
Building and leading high‑performing teams is central to the role; you will recruit, develop and manage staff according to JLL principles, ensure talent growth, and address performance issues in a structured manner.
Key SCMP functions include creating sourcing strategies, standardizing supplier agreements, serving as liaison with client procurement, integrating systems for risk management, driving diversity and sustainable sourcing, and conducting compliance inspections and reporting.
You will maintain strong supplier relationships, develop detailed sourcing strategies with category‑spend assessments and milestones, coordinate national and regional initiatives, deliver twice‑yearly supply‑chain training, and enforce sourcing and contracting policies while resolving non‑compliance with internal audit.
Ideal candidates hold a degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, possess 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience (MBA or professional certifications such as ISM or LEED preferred), and demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, as well as hands‑on expertise in both strategy and execution.
